Troy Machir, Ballin is a Habit

Troy Machir is the Assistant Managing Editor for BallinIsAHabit.Net. He is in charge of the promotion, development, content management andmarketing of the website, along with being a contributing writer. Since 2008 B.I.A.H. has grown from casual blog to nationally-recognized and well-respected college basketball site. B.I.A.H. has covered the past two Big East Tournaments and is a press-row fixture at most Georgetown and Maryland home games. The site was featured daily on MSNBC's Beyond The Arc blog during the 2010 NCAA Tournament. Troy is a graduate of Elizabethtown College, where he majored in communications with a concentration in broadcast news and new media. He served as the the voice of Elizabethtown sports on the college's television and radio stations. Along with the work for B.I.A.H., Troy currently works as a public address announcer for various sporting events at Georgetown University. B.I.A.H. was founded by Rob Dauster, a former basketball player at Vasser College and one of the country's elite up-and-coming college basketball writers. Rob has served as the Big East correspondent for RushTheCourt.net and has been a guest on various discussion panels.
